The PEERS® for Adolescents Certified Training Seminar: Parent-Assisted Intervention is designed exclusively for mental health professionals, educators, medical professionals, speech therapists, occupational and recreational therapists, researchers, and other professionals who work with adolescents with social challenges. Attendees will obtain 24 hours of training over 3 days regarding use of the PEERS® Curriculum and the research behind the program.

In addition to being accredited as a PEERS® Certified Provider, completion of this training includes:

  • All materials needed to successfully implement your own PEERS® for Adolescents program, including proprietary measures and forms
  • Expertise to administer the PEERS® for Adolescents program in educational or clinical settings
  • Inclusion on the PEERS® for Adolescents Certified Providers directory & the ECS Certified Professional directory, providing opportunities for patient referrals from our clinics

Attendees will receive :

  • A copy of PEERS® Treatment Manual
  • Over 100 role-play videos
  • PowerPoint slides for telehealth delivery

EDGE’s Outstanding Student Clinician Award

Awards will be given to student clinicians who demonstrate enthusiasm to continuing education, academic and clinical excellence, and professionalism. The awardees will receive an award certificate and a scholarship to cover the training course fee in full.

Eligibility: All allied health students who enrolled to the training will be eligible to be considered for the award.

Procedures: Upon successful enrollment to the course, students shall indicate if they are taking part in the selection. The organizer shall then collect personal statements, transcripts, and if necessary, conduct a brief interview. Awardees will be announced by the end of the training day.
