The Personal Orientation Inventory (POI) is based on the concept of the actualizing person – a person who is more fully functioning and lives a more enriched life than does the average person. The Inventory provides a comprehensive measurement of values and behavior. POI provides counselor and counselee with a measure of the clients level of positive mental health. The Inventory consists of 150 two-choice value and behavior items and is scored for two major scales plus 10 sub-scales.
Range: High school, college and adult
Forms: One form.
Norms: College norms presented in percentile scores. Adult mean scores and profiles. Means, standard deviations and plotted profiles presented for clinically nominated \”self-actualized\” and \”non-self-profile\” groups as well as for many other clinical and industrial samples.
Time: Approximately 30 minutes.
