Comprehensive kit provides a sensory stimulation and basic cognitive rehabilitation program. More than 90 sensory activities including auditory, visual, olfactory, gustatory and tactile stimuli are described in the accompanying manual. The client\’s responses to these stimulation activities may be used by the clinician as a foundation for cognitive gains that can be made by implementing the cognitive activities that are also documented in the manual.
Kit includes 31 functional, safe materials to stimulate the senses, including 3 communication cards; a manual that includes sensorimotor assessment procedures; treatment guidelines and goals; activities and forms to document assessment, treatment and results.
Materials (to be used by one person only) are packed in personal patient cases that can be labeled and reordered. Four personal cases are included with the kit.
