The Lidcombe Program is an evidence-based, behavioral treatment for early stuttering. The treatment is administered to the child by their parents/care givers, under the guidance of a speech therapist. Research has shown that most children who receive the Lidcombe Program achieve significant reductions in stuttering frequency and severity.
The treatment focuses on children practising their stutter-free speech and receiving feedback about their speech during fun and engaging talking times throughout the day.
Participants who complete the workshop will be awarded a certificate of participation.
